My 4 year old twins are HUGE Hi5 fans. We have so many of the DVD’s it’s just not funny, so they were excited about having the chance to view one they hadn’t seen before.

Although they did enjoy the DVD, they couldn’t work out where ‘Hi5’ were because they haven’t seen much of the new Hi5 members and I think they were a bit disappointed not to see their favourites
However Lucan….my 9 month old is totally in awe of the DVD…well Hi5 in general actually. This DVD, like so many of the previous Hi5 dvd’s is a bundle of energy from the start. Not just in physical energy but colours, music and everything. It never seems to stop and I think this one is even bigger and brighter than other ones I have seen.

I would definately recommend this…..in fact if I had hired it to watch, I would have gone out and bought it

The movie looks visually great. Kahlan was absolutely fascinated by everything being small – she was pointing and yelling at the tv to begin with almost every 5 seconds it seemed! Was very exciting for her.

Has a lovely story line, although might be a little bit scary in some spots for some kids – when I saw the guys flying on giant mosquitos I was expecting Kahlan to get freaked out and hide but she thought they were wonderful! She got right into it at the end scene as well – telling off the bad guy for being naughty.
Maltazard actually looks pretty scary made bigger, and it could be a little bit frightening in bits if your child is inclined to be scared by different looking creatures – so would recommend a bit of discretion with that.

She has watched it numerous times since and has become a firm favourite now. Although I must say that I have had enough of it after 1 or 2 times. Its a great kids movie if they like that sort of strange slightly scary thing (which it seems my daughter does) – but is probably only good as a ‘family’ movie for one or two views before it gets put on the shelf I think.

10/10Well we finally got around to sitting down and watching this together my son Thane had already watched it quite a few times as he loves Bob and was always asking to watch it.

He sat down and watched every episode in one sitting without leaving the couch so it was a great DVD that held my son attention for a very long time.

His favourite episode would have to be Scratch goes Solo. It was also my favourite aswell as it showed how you can do some things on your own but that it is ok to ask for help when you need it and I feel this was great in showing my kids it was ok to ask and since then my son has asked for help rather than getting upset when he could not do something by himself.

Overall this is another great Bob DVD for our collection and has provided my son with hours and hours of Bob-tastic viewing thanks so much for the chance to review this great DVD.

Review by Kathie

I was fortunate enough to receive this morning and my grandson is staying .
Blaize is 6 months old and is picky with food. I gave him the Vanilla Bean Custard.
As an older mum the packaging has come along way from tin food ! The packaging is AWESOME !

I love the concept of the twist top so you can give what you need . There is no wastage at all . It  reduces the rubbish factor as well. It is appealing in colour .
I was also suprised at what ease it was to squeeze out of the tube and there was nothing left behind.
I had a taste of the custard it has a smooth texture , the flavour is subtle of vanilla .I was also amazed out how sweet it was . My grandson enjoyed it and did not blow bubbles but was looking for more which is a bonus. As a mother of older children with allergies it is great to see that food manufacturers have produced a range of baby food that meets the nutritional needs of the children but also supporting the choices that parents are making of eating only organic. The company gets a big thumbs up for supporting the environment .
I would thoroughly recommend this to any mother to give to their babies

Describe the look:
I like the look of the pouches. They are easy to read with just the two main colours (green and white). I like the fact that the ingredients are in a different coloured box so it stands out and is instantly identifiable without having to skim thru heaps of other writing. IMO when I see the simple colours, I think simple food – which is a bonus for baby food!

What does the brand say to you:
The brand says to me that they care about what a baby is eating.

Would you buy Only Organic Baby Food for your baby?
Yes absolutely.

Do you like our new BPA free pouches with the child safety cap?
I love them! I do babyled weaning with my kids so don’t enjoy spoon feeding. I liked the fact that due to the design of the pouches I could pop my 11mth old in the highchair and she could eat the custard (without too much mess) by sucking on the top like a straw while I was busy getting dinner sorted.

Do you like the packaging?
Yup, it’s simplistic but all the ‘key points’ are easily to read. I like that my kids could use them as a straw type food so easy to just throw in the nappy bag and give at any time. I like the fact it can be resealed by screwing the lid back on.
Did you taste the mango custard?
I didn’t but both my girls did (2.5yrs and 11mths) and it went down well both times. My 2.5yr old said it was very yummy.
Do you like the fact that Only Organic custards are gluten free and have no added sugar?
I wouldn’t buy them specifically due to them being gluten free but I do like the fact that kids with gluten problems are able to have a nice dessert. Sugar free – yup but I’d expect all baby food for be ‘no added sugar’.

Why do Mums choose Only Organic
Better Taste – More Nutritious – less Allergic Reactions – Must sustainable – Better for the Environment – GMO Free
I don’t really care about organic stuff as my budget doesn’t allow it, however given the choice between organic and non-organic at the same price, I would choose the organic one just in case ‘the hippies’ are right lol
Anything else you wish to add
My kids both loved this and I would definitely buy the vanilla bean custard again for my baby (not my toddler as she is meant to be low diary – I was just ‘naughty’ as she wanted to try one). I’m not sure if I would buy the mango one though as my baby threw it up in the cot. I rate them 4.5/5

Review by Dizzy

The custard range of Only Organic Baby Food is a great range. The packaging stands out on the shelf with a different approach to packaging to other brands of baby food. I particularly like the screw top as it was easy to open and could be easily resealed without a hassle.

I would happily buy this product in the future for my baby girl as she really enjoyed it for breakfast, mixed with either her porridge or weetbix. While feeding her she would get grumpy if I didn’t feed her fast enough … this alone tells me that the custard has an awesome flavour. I also tasted these flavours and thought they were particularly tasty. Maybe I can convince my baby girl to share?

With the ingredients in mind; it is great to have a choice of baby food that is gluten free and sugar free. There doesn’t seem to be many products out there that would have this option for parents that are concerned about these elements. Thumbs up for making more choices available to our babies within a reasonable price range!

Overall, I would say that Only Organic Baby Food is a food that I would happily give my little girl and I would recommend this range to other parents for their growing babies. Awesome product!

Tommee Tippee Closer to Nature Bottle & Food Warmer

For generations, Tommee Tippee products have been loved by babies and recommended by mums around the world. For your complete peace of mind all our products are developed in close consultation with health professionals and tested to not only meet but exceed industry standardsTommeeTippee Closer to Nature Bottle & Food Warmer

• Heats milk and food safely and quickly from 4 minutes
• Helps preserve nutrients vital to baby’s healthy development
• Fits all CTN bottle sizes – 150ml, 260ml, and 340ml
• Adjustable control dial and built-in thermostat allow control of temperature

.
I was lucky enough to be given one of these by Tommee Tippee and I was interested to see just how good it really was.I took the product out of the box and had a quick look at the instructions which seemed pretty simple and easy to follow.
Basically you plug the Warmer in (turned OFF), put your filled bottle in the Warmer then fill the Warmer with water to a point about 10mm below the lower side of the Warmer.
Then you’re ready to go
Turn the Warmer onto 3 and within around 4 minutes you have a bottle that is a great temperature for your little one. If you have refridgerated feeds this will take a little longer than the 4 minutes

I found it really easy to set the bottle up, then change my sons nappy, wash my hands, and then the 4 minutes was up (or close to it)

For usability I would give this product a 10/10 because it really is just so simple and easy to use.
It’s small so it doesn’t take up a lot of room on the bench but yet it fits all the Closer to Nature bottles which is great. Plus it LOOKS good too.
This product definately does what it says it does so full marks on that degree.
However, I do see this as a bit of a luxury item. If I was sitting down making a list of products I needed for my child, this wouldn’t be at the top of my list but it is a nice product to have around that does help when you’re trying to do a million and one things that so many Mums are.

Overall I would probably give this a 7/10 – simply because it is a lot of money to spend on something you don’t necessarily ‘need’
